the Volkswagen beetle or the first ever Porsche produced designs several tanks
in the army were based of Porsche chassis of the tiger I and the tiger II model
tanks used at that period of time
After
his fathers rain Ferdinand Porsche, Ferry Porsche decided to build

Porsche
in motorsport
Porsche has been
a notorious and successful branch of motorsport through time, most notably in Carrera
Panamericana and Targa Florio these races
after led to the naming of their streetcars.
It was the Porsche 917 of 1969
turned them into a powerhouse, winning in 1970 the first of over a dozen 24 Hours of Le Mans, more than any other company. With the 911 Carrera RS
and the Porsche 935 Turbo, Porsche dominated the 1970s, and even has beaten
sports prototypes, a category in which Porsche entered the successful 936, 956
and 962 models.
Porsche is
currently the world's largest racecar manufacturer. In 2006, Porsche built 195
race cars for various international motor sports events, and in 2007 Porsche is
expected to construct no less than 275 dedicated race cars (7 RS Spyder LMP2 prototypes, 37 GT2 spec 911 GT3-RSRs, and 231 911
GT3 Cup vehicles

Project Code 980
A mid-engined
devil of a sports car that produces 612 hp or should I just say the Porsche
Carrera GT, naming it one of the best car of the 2000s and the on the list of top
ten sport cars of all time The car was
initially intended to use a turbocharged flat-6, but was
later redesigned to use a new V10 engine, pushing the
project back to planned completion in 2000. The V10 was a unit secretly built
by Porsche for the Footwork Formula One team in 1992, but later shelved.
Lets not
forget the car that killed Paul walker
Originally a production run of 1,500 cars was planned. However,
Porsche announced in August 2005 that it would not continue production of the
Carrera GT through to 2006, citing discontinuation was due to changing airbag
regulations in the United States. As of May 6, 2006, 1,270 GT's had been
manufactured, with 604 being sold in the United States.

Volkswagen
again?
A new set of
looks and capabilities rose with the Porsche cayenne as it was shared with its
not so distant cousin the Volkswagen touareg; this was Porsche comeback V8 engine
in luxury crossover. it had two generations that ran on very different chassis
The Porsche Cayenne entered the market with mixed anticipation.
However, it soon proved that it was the performance vehicle between SUV's and
was praised for its excellent handling and powerful engines the lineup
initially consisted of the V8-powered Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo. Later in the
model cycle, VR6 and diesel-powered versions joined the lineup.

Conclusion
Porsche is a major automobile manufacturer and has earned its
respect and winnings through history it’s a versatile car that can be there for
the muddy terrains or the tarmac of a well dangerous track and personally I
would love to get my hands on the new Carrera s besides they were once tanks.
